About Me

Hey, I'm Emily! I'm the face (and camera) behind Emily Kate Studios, a family and newborn photographer based in Chichester, West Sussex. I specialize in capturing real, meaningful moments - tiny toes, sleepy cuddles, and the kind of chaos that makes family life so wonderfully real.

Photography has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I completed a Foundation Degree in it at Brighton University in 2017. Photography took on a whole new meaning for me when I became a mum in 2023. As a parent, I know how fast time flies (and how impossible it can feel to get a good photo!). My goal is to create beautiful, natural images that you'll treasure forever - without the stress.

A little about me: I met my husband, Sam, when we were just 17. We got married in 2021 and now share a life full of laughter, adventure, and an alarming number of snack breaks with our daughter. When I'm not behind the camera, or being a mum, I'm probably curled up with a fantasy book, baking something I definitely don't need, dreaming of our next getaway or pushing myself through a Peloton workout - because nothing says "self-care" like voluntarily sweating for fun.
